1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, company domain) when you create an account. We also collect usage data including which AI engines you track, visibility scores, and feature interactions to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Spektriq platform, send weekly digest emails you opt into, process billing through our payment provider (Polar), and communicate service updates. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on PostgreSQL databases hosted on Neon (EU region available on request). We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. API keys and credentials are stored encrypted and never logged.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Polar for subscription billing, Resend for transactional email, PostHog for anonymised product analytics, and OpenRouter for AI engine access. Each service has their own privacy policy governing data they receive.
5. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication (via Better Auth) and a PostHog analytics cookie that can be opted out of. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@spektriq.io. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Scan results (prompt results, visibility scores) are retained for 12 months then purged. You can request immediate deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email and update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Spektriq after changes constitutes acceptance.
